Battery-Pack and XLETON Platform
At the heart of the TVS X Electric Scooter lies a robust 4.44 kWh dual battery pack that boasts dust and water resistance. Built on TVS’s innovative XLETON platform, the TVS X showcases a distinct maxi-style format. The e-scooter’s foundation is the new Xleton frame, meticulously crafted from lightweight aluminium alloy for optimal performance.
Charging Time and Impressive Range
The TVS X raises the bar in charging technology, offering the convenience of fast charging. Owners have the choice of employing the Smart X Home rapid charger, delivering a swift 0 to 50 per cent charge in just 50 minutes, or utilizing a 950W portable charger, which takes approximately 4.5 hours to achieve an 80 per cent charge.
With a single charge, the TVS X Electric Scooter promises an impressive claimed range of 140 kilometres. This agile machine achieves a top speed of 105 km/h, while its regenerative braking system prolongs battery life and the driving range.
Cutting-Edge Digital Features and Navigation
TVS prides itself on pioneering aerodynamic efficiency with ram air cooling technology. The TVS X is the first electric scooter in India to offer an industry-first live vehicle location-sharing feature. Navigating the roads is made seamless with the onboard navigation system called Nav Pro. The TVS X sports an innovative X-Tilt instrument console that swivels, introducing a segment-first feature.
The highlight of the digital experience is the colossal 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, setting a new standard for the electric scooter market. The scooter boasts three distinct riding modes—Xthealth, Xtride, and Xonic—where Xonic stands out as the most potent ride mode, equipped with ABS and cruise control.

Exuding a sporty demeanour, the TVS X electric scooter features an offset mono suspension at the rear, coupled with an auto-hold function. This translates to enhanced stability and control for riders. Acceleration is a breeze, with the TVS X accomplishing 0-40 km/h in a swift 2.6 seconds. The scooter’s peak power reaches an impressive 11 kW, enabling it to get a top speed of 105 km/h.
Booking, Price, and Future Plans
Eager enthusiasts can now secure their TVS X by booking it with an initial deposit of Rs. 5000. Deliveries are set to commence in November. The TVS X Electric Scooter is priced starting from Rs. 2.5 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru), positioning it as the premium choice in the market.
It’s worth noting that this price point places the TVS X beyond the Rs. 1.5 lakh threshold, making it ineligible for the Fame II subsidy. Consequently, the scooter does not qualify for the government’s FAME incentive.
Looking ahead, TVS Motors is setting the stage for further innovation and expansion in the electric scooter domain. Their plans include introducing new products, such as the anticipated TVS IQube ST, and building a comprehensive portfolio of EVs over the next year and a half.
