Ola Electric’s Founder Bhavish Unveiled India’s First Autonomous Scooter Named Ola Solo

Ola Electric’s Founder Bhavish Aggarwal unveiled a new electric scooter, named ‘Ola Solo’. It was unveiled on 1st April, so everyone thought it was real or fake. In the next Bhavish clarified that it is a real, India’s first autonomous scooter. it sets revolutionary steps for the EV industry. Bhavish X’s (formerly known as Twitter) video shows that the electric scooter will be “fully autonomous, with AI-enabled and traffic smart scooter”. The development of the Ola Solo is a collaborative effort between Ola Electric, Ola Cabs, and their in-house AI platform, Krutrim.

Bhavish tweeted it was not just an April Fools joke! while the video was meant to provide a laugh to people, the technology behind it is they’ve been working on it. It shows the kind of pioneering work our engineering teams are capable of. They teased a video of its prototype. The prototype autonomously drives in the parking place and self-balancing itself.

Autonomous Electric Vehicle designer Riya Khudchal stated that the scooter is India’s first autonomous or Ola-nomous electric scooter. Ola Solo is powered by Quickie.AI which is capable of making split-second decisions. It has an in-house developed chip LMAO 9000 chip that can analyze real-time traffic data, which easily helps navigate streets. It boasts a charging feature called Vishram which finds the nearest hypercharger whenever the Ola Solo runs on low charge. It makes the scooter smarter with the integrated adapted algorithm JU-Gaurd technology. It learns from every ride and every speed breaker it easily navigates through streets.

With the help of Summon mode, you can easily move from a tight situation in just one tap and the scooter will pick you up in seconds like your driver. Ola Electric said. Moreover, It boasts Krutrim voice-enabled AI cutting-edge technology, supporting 22 languages, enabling safety and security with the help of a facial recognition system and helmet activation features making your ride fully secure.

Although, Bhavish has not unveiled its launch date we eagerly wait to see it.
