Okaya EV Teased Its New Electric Motorcycle Ferrato

Okaya EV is prepared to launch its new high-quality brand Ferrato in the Indian market. Previously, the company revealed in a teaser that there would be two motorcycles and one scooter that it will launch. Now, the new brand Ferrato hinted at its first motorcycle that is anticipated to launch in 2024-25.

The Ferrato names its new motorcycle a “Disruptor’. It is powered 6.4 kW PMSM motor that produces a high torque of 228 Nm. The motorcycle has a top speed of 95 km/h and the company will release more teasers in the upcoming days.

Okaya EV has already announced a dealership network for Ferrato, and planning to establish more than 100 dealerships, to improve service quality.

The company’s main aim is to deliver optimum experience to customers with the help of Ferrato. Managing Director of Okaya EV, Dr. Anshul Gupta said on Ferrato’s announcement. “Ferrato’s establishment aims to provide a premium experience to consumers and marks a significant milestone for Okaya EV as we continue to expand our footprint in the sustainable mobility landscape. With a dedicated team overseeing sales, customer operations, and service centers, we plan to establish over 100+ partners for Ferrato, focusing on positioning it as a premier choice for discerning riders seeking the perfect fusion of passion and performance.”

The company’s latest lineup MotoFaast costs ₹1,36,999 (ex-showroom). The e-scooter motor produces a peak power output of 2300W which can achieve a top speed of 70 km/h. It offers three riding modes Eco, City, and Sports. It comes with a dual battery system which has a total capacity of 3.53 kWh. It takes 4-5 hours to fully charge. It offers a claimed range of 110-130 km on single charge.
