Newtron Electric came into existence on 25th May 2021 as a private limited company. They started production of electric vehicles on 6th July 2021 with their low-speed non-registration models. They manufactured and sold more than 2000 vehicles during the year 2021-22. They continued their work and received approval from CIRT (Central Institute of Road Transport) for EEC-approved high-speed registration models in July 2022.
